Utilizing sacred designs and patterns, the Huichol create an array of art. 24" x 24" #H10 Eligio Carrillo Vicente is one of my most important Huichol yarn painters and a pioneer of the early classic style. Large yarn paintings of his visions are mounted with beeswax on plywood. On the back of each painting are the artists words in Huichol handwritten to describe the meaning of the vision (see example in photo). Eligio is
