There is elastic in the neck so it can be worn off the shoulders. It zips up the back. It is fully lined. The bodice is lined in a thin cotton and the skirt is lined with 2 layers that is a silky fabric (probably acetate or polyester?) and the bottom layer has tulle at the bottom to help the skirt stand out a bit.
