The hat bodies are individually made by hand in Ecuador using the leaves from the Toquilla palm. These straw hats provide up to 50+ UV protection. We hand shape each crown by hand in our studio and each hat has either a natural flat brim, a more rigid hemmed brim, or a reinforced raw brim. As we say with all our hats; they're neither men's nor women's hats. They're hats for people with heads.
