but this has a nice structure and good length

2023 Charlene et Laurent Pinson Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre Moncao e Melgaco unfurling in the glass with91 93 Points, Burghound "(from a 50 50 blend of Chapelot and Monte de Tonnerre proper). A more elegant and quite pure nose features aromas of acacia, iodine, oyster shell and a whiff of crushed anise. The rich, generous and refined middle weight flavors possess a sophisticated mouthfeel along with evident minerality that becomes more apparent on the beautifully long finale. This does need more depth but the development potential is clear. Good stuff.
