2022 Domaine Gerard Bigonneau Reuilly Pinot Noir Attika and it's drinking deliciously nowWest of Sancerre and slightly south of Quincy is the appellation of Reuilly. At Bigonneau their Pinot Noir grows on stony soils on top of limestone subsoils along south east facing slopes overlooking the Arnon Valley. The de stemmed fruit is fermented in stainless steel tank, creating a fresh, vibrant cherry laden wine. The floral aromas give way to berry fruit on the palate. Gerard Bigonneaus family has farmed the estate for several generations.
